Groups

In many ways a small group community defines the body of Christ far and above our Sunday services and Acts 2 is a biblical model of biblical community we as a church want to model.

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” -Acts 2: 42-47

This is a biblical community that transforms lives and furthered God's kingdom. That's what we want our church and small groups to be all about. Biblical community doesn't happen in the pews, but in groups. Groups are a great opportunity to build community, have fellowship, grow as disciples of Christ, be rooted in God's word, become intentionally invested in others' lives.

Sunday discipleship classes have been established at our church for many years now and didn't want to interfere with what God has done and is doing within those groups, but we wanted to model the New Testament church with meeting in the homes as well. The early church met in the church and in homes (Acts 5:42), which helped build community inside and outside the church walls. So we offer two different tracts of small groups for discipleship at Rollingbrook Fellowship. We have Discipleship classes that meet on-campus primarily on Sundays and Home Groups that meet off-campus during the week. Go to our Group Finder to find the right group for you.

HOME GROUPS

Church doesn’t just happen on Sundays or in a church building, it can happen outside the walls of the church. Home Groups meet throughout the community during the week for fellowship, care, prayer, accountability, and study. Click here for HOME GROUP MAP.

Discipleship Classes

Discipleship Classes meet on the church campus on Sunday mornings for fellowship, care, prayer, accountability, sharing stories and the studying of God’s Word during each of the worship gathering services. This provides the easy access of dropping of your kids and attending worship as well. We also have some Discipleship Classes that meet during the week.

SUPPORT GROUPS

We also offer support groups to minister to those in need of healing, wisdom, restoration, and encouragement.
