As Christ followers, we exist to bring glory to God by loving His people, spreading the Gospel, and making disciples. We were created to impact all nations for the glory of Christ. Matthew 28:19 commands us to “go and make disciples of all nations…”
At The Brook, giving our lives is the missional aspect of our church. You can be involved in our mission by praying, volunteering, giving, serving, and going.
For those interested in going on a short-term trip, we ask that you follow the guidelines below:

Must be able to attend team meetings and complete required training courses.
Must be a faithful member of a Bible believing fellowship. Although membership at First Baptist Baytown is not required, FBC members may be given preference in the selection process when spots are limited.
Have expressed agreement with Rollingbrook Fellowship's Vision, Mission, Values, Strategy, and Statement of Beliefs.
2018 Missions Theme: Getting to Gospel Conversations
KENYA | MARCH 9-18
This trip will be focused on building on existing partnerships. The team will deliver food to our sponsorship children and work on the construction of the mission house. We will also serve with staff at Kajiado Childcare Center and lead gospel programs at local schools.
BAHAMAS | JUNE 11-17
This team will be completing projects at Camp Bahamas, the only Christian camp in the Bahamas. Our team would help the staff prepare for a summer full of youth camps to local Bahamians. There will also be opportunities to minister to children in the local community. This trip would be great for youth and adults as it will allow team members to experience a 3rd World country in a safe environment.
MERCEDES, TX | July 12-15
This trip is designed to allow families to serve together. There will be meaningful opportunities for families to talk about their faith through family devotional times and hands-on service projects. The impact of serving together as a family is life changing for children, as well as parents
If you have any questions about missions or want to get involved contact Bekah Powell at or fill out the Interest Form.
