Worship in the local church happens when the people of God are gathered together to respond to Him for who He is and what He's done. Throughout the Bible we are encouraged and even commanded to worship, and Scripture offers us instruction on how to do so.
- We offer our lives to God in submission and obedience (Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Sam. 15:22)
- We sing (1 Chron. 16:23)
- We worship in reverence and awe (Heb. 12:28-29) and with joy (Ps. 100:1-2)
- We pray (Eph. 6:18)
The Bible offers plenty of other examples in addition to these, and our continuing commitment as we gather for worship is to focus on the glory of God, to exalt Christ in all things, and to respond to Him in Spirit and in truth (John 4).
We currently have three services on Sunday mornings. In all three we will sing, pray, and study God's word together. The main differences are musical style and service flow.
Traditions Gathering @ 8:00am
Hymns and a rich variety of traditional music led by our Traditions choir and accompanied mainly by piano, organ, and occasionally guitar.
Gatherings 2&3 @ 9:30am and 11:00am
A variety of modern songs and hymns led by our worship band.
We would be honored for you to come join us as we worship the Lord together.
